Why did you become a dentist?
Two of my cousins were dentists in Yonkers, New York. When our family went for our dental appointments, we would be there for hours. I would always watch while they did procedures on my siblings and ask lots of questions. Since I was very interested in science and health, dentistry was the perfect career choice.
What do you like most about being a dentist?
I like being able to change people’s lives. When you change someone’s smile, they regain their self-confidence and it alters their personality. When you eliminate their fear of dentistry, they are able to smile, bite and chew without pain. It’s extremely gratifying to be part of this transformation!
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy spending time with my wife and two sons. I am active in my local church and enjoy going to the gym, running and skiing. My sons are very involved in volleyball and tennis, so I spend a lot of time watching them participate in activities.
All of our dentists are Invisalign Certified providers and members of the American Dental Association, Suffolk County Dental Society and the New York State Dental Association.
