Why did you become a dentist?
As a child, I had a lot of cavities and spent a great deal of time in a dental office. The dentist was a close family friend and the whole idea of becoming a dentist seemed very cool. In a sixth grade report, I wrote that my future career would be dentistry.
What do you like most about being a dentist?
I enjoy educating people about their choices and finding the best solution for their oral health. It’s exciting to see the impact that dentistry can make on someone’s life. I get to transform people who have hated their teeth for years and lived with pain and discomfort. When they’re finished with their treatment, they leave with great smiles and no pain.
How do you spend your free time?
I enjoy spending time with my wife and children. Both of my children are heavily involved in multiple sports, so I am very busy with their activities. I also enjoy mountain biking and attending concerts
