I’m Hans, and I’ve proudly worked at Gentle Dental for 24 years. Helping others achieve optimal oral health is my passion. As the nephew of Bob Silver, the founder of Gentle Dental, I take great pride in our family legacy.
Outside of work, I love flying and exploring new lands and cultures. My Aunt Gerda, the founder of Save a Pet in Port Jefferson, has been a tremendous inspiration to me. I share her deep love for animals and cherish every moment spent with my beloved pets.
One of my greatest pleasures is visiting my aunt and uncle in beautiful and serene Vermont. My aunt, who also owns Gerda’s Equine Rescue, has saved countless animals from dire situations. Her dedication and compassion are a constant source of motivation for me. Vermont holds a special place in my heart. One of my fondest memories is playing Santa Claus to my family’s young children, running up the driveway with the kids and dogs nipping at my heels. It was one of life’s funniest and most precious moments—they never caught me!
At home, I enjoy landscaping and gardening, which provide a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of today’s world.
